Welcome to the more.groupware setup,
We are glad to see you installing more.groupware. The project was started as an inhouse tool by Marc Logemann (at Morelogs GmbH) and has been open-sourced quickly after it was born. Marc was the driving force behind it for the first two years, and from the start a lot of people have helped with coding, testing, translating and documentation.
Since 2002 another company from Germany called fishfarm netsolutions invests a noticable amount of time in the progress of more.groupware and has 2003 been joined in this effort by a few more people.
By now the project has become a solid foundation for future work and is already used in quite a few places for day-to-day work.
Setup steps
1 - Choose the language to be used during setup.
2 - Inspect your system.
3 - Setup the more.groupware database.
4 - Setup authentication method if needed.
5 - Install core and base modules.
6 - Finalize setup.
This whole process should not take longer than 10 minutes, and result in an installation of this easy-to-use, easy-to-access web-based groupware on your server. Have fun!
